Your group is what makes Device Tracker Plus work! Any current member of a group can invite someone new to join. Remember, one subscription covers a group of up to 5 members in total.
Step-by-Step Instructions to Invite
- Find the Invite Option: On the main map screen, swipe up for your list of group members. At the bottom of this list, tap the option to ‘Add new member’.
- Share Your Group Code: A screen will appear showing your unique Group Code. Tap the ‘Send Group Code’ button.
- Send the Invitation: Your phone’s standard sharing options will appear. Choose how you want to send the invite (e.g., WhatsApp, SMS, Email, Messenger, Teams) and select the contact.
- Automated Message: An automated message containing the code and a link with instructions on how to download the app will be sent to them.
Step-by-Step Instructions to Join (For New Invitees)
If you've received an invitation code from a friend or family member, this is how you join their group:
- Download and Open the App: Download Device Tracker Plus from the App Store or Google Play. When you first open the app, select the option to ‘Join a Group’.
- Enter Your Invitation Code: Carefully type or paste the Group Code you received into the text field provided.
- You're In! Tap the confirm button, and you will be added to the group. You'll now be able to see other members on your map, and they will be able to see you.
