- Global Coverage: The service works anywhere in the world where there is GPS coverage.
- Requirements: As long as the device is turned on and has a connection to the internet (either Wi-Fi or mobile data), tracking will start to collect locations.
Location Accuracy
- Precision: The app uses GPS technology and you’ll usually be able to see the location of any registered device to within 10 feet.
- Factors Affecting Accuracy: Accuracy depends on several technical factors that are not always within our control:
- The strength of the GPS signal.
- The quality of the mobile network connection.
- The device itself (handset).
- Indoor/Urban Areas: In dense urban areas or indoors, the accuracy may vary.
- Stuck Location: If a location appears "stuck," the device may be in an area with a poor GPS signal (e.g., in a basement or tunnel). It will update automatically once a better signal is found.
