If you've lost your device and have our app installed, you should be able to locate it in a few simple steps. You have two great options:
I lost my device after signing up to Device Tracker Plus
Ask a Group Member to Track It: Ask any other member of your Device Tracker Plus group to use their app to track the current location of your device for you.
- Use a Replacement Device: Install the app onto another device you have access to (like a spare phone or tablet) and log in with your profile.
- How the Profile Transfer Works:
- Install the app and enter your Group Code.
- The app will ask you to verify your phone number.
- You'll see a message asking if you want to use the existing profile with your name (the one linked to the lost device) or create a new profile. Select the existing profile with your name.
- By selecting your existing profile, the system links your account to the new device. The location that your profile reports will now be the new device's location.
- How the Profile Transfer Works:
You can then use the map and Location History feature on the new device to see the path and the last known location of your lost device before it went missing.
